SAFe® Scrum Master Training
The SAFe® Scrum Master course provides a comprehensive introduction to the role of the Scrum Master within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You will learn how to support Agile teams in a larger organizational context, collaborate effectively with other teams, and contribute to the success of an Agile Release Train.
During the training, you will gain practical insights into the responsibilities of a Scrum Master in a SAFe environment and learn how to help teams continuously improve and deliver value.
Course Format
This training is a live online course led by an experienced SAFe trainer.
The course includes:
16 hours of live training
Interactive exercises and discussions
Practical examples from real Agile transformations
Dedicated time for questions and experience sharing
Classes are intentionally kept small (max. 5–10 participants) to ensure an interactive learning environment and allow enough time for questions and discussion.
Day 1: 8:00 – 16:00 CET
Day 2: 8:00 – 16:00 CET
After completing the 16 hours of live training, you will be eligible to take the official certification exam. The cost of the exam is already included in the course fee.
The date for the bonus session (Q&A and exam preparation) will be scheduled together with the participants to ensure everyone can attend. This session usually takes place 2 to 7 days after the live training and can be held either as:
one session (up to 4 hours), or
two separate sessions (e.g. 2 × 2 hours)

After you register for the course, we will send you all the necessary information and materials so you can start preparing in advance. We also offer an optional onboarding meeting where we introduce the course setup and walk you through the tools and everything you need to know before the training begins.
Once you have completed the 16 hours live training, you will be eligible to take the certification exam. You can take the exam within the next 30 days.
After the course, you can also participate in our bonus session, where we prepare you specifically for the exam and give you the opportunity to ask any remaining questions.

How does the certification process work?
Certification is obtained after completing the training and successfully passing the online exam.
How do I register for the online exam?
To register for the online exam, the participant’s email address is required. This will be collected with the participant list before the training.
Access to the exam is usually granted on the last day of the training.
How do I receive my access to the SAFe® Community Platform?
Participants will receive an email with their login details for the SAFe® Community Platform provided by Scaled Agile, as well as access to the online exam.
When do I need to complete the online exam?
Participants have 30 days to complete the online certification exam.
Is taking the exam mandatory?
No, taking the exam is optional.
How do I receive my certificate after passing the exam?
After successfully passing the exam, the certificate will be available for download in the participant’s personal user profile.
